# How referrals appear

Referrals provide a means for quantifying interest driven to your games by members of your Support-a-Creator program.

Referrals quantify the interest creators drive to your games through your Support-a-Creator program.

## Creator referral history

Creators can view their referrals on their [Nexus dashboard](https://www.nexus.gg/dashboard/support-a-creator) once they have joined your group, [linked their Nexus account](/additional-features/referrals/examples/creating-your-first-referral/private-referral-program/#link-your-user-to-an-existing-nexus-account), or [claimed a code that you generated](/creator-code-api/program-management/adding-codes-to-your-program/claiming-a-generated-code/).

You can also show referral progress to members by [referencing their referral history](/additional-features/referrals/managing-referrals/#retrieve-referrals) with the `playerId` you included when generating the code or when linking their Nexus account.
